have two very different styles that I work on alternately. One is painting woodland scenes and
landscapes in oil, inspired by the beautiful West Sussex countryside where I live. I have always been
an outdoor person and living in a rural location is perfect for what I do.
The other style is painting acrylic abstracts inspired by my love of Earth's natural elements. As a child,
I would spend hours looking through encyclopedias for pictures of caves, lakes and mountains,
and time spent living in New Zealand as an adult, where the landscapes are breathtaking, reinforced this fascination
which sparked the development of my abstract impressions.
I really enjoy the freedom of having a choice between two diverse styles and I feel that one
 influences the other.
